Lord,
Guide all the children as they return to school,
hopefully without masks.
Prepare all the children’s minds as they aborbe all
that the teachers are teaching. Keep them patient, mindful, and respectful of
all the teachers, principals, nurses, and janitors.
Prepare the teachers to be patient and supportive of
all their children. Please give them the mindset that all students learn
differently and at different paces. Not all children can learn the same way. Be
prepared to teach these children to learn and be successful.
Prepare the parents as they have to return to the
schedule juggling of school, work, and after school activities. Give parents
the skills to handle it all without anger.
Allow moments of awe.
Allow moments of peace.
Allow moments of joy.
Let’s have a good year.
